Seasonal Cottages

Situated on secluded ocean front property well away from traffic, our cottages offer a relaxed atmosphere for your vacation enjoyment. All have beautiful ocean views of Clark's Cove on Western Bay of Bar Harbor and are within 175' of the high tide water line.

Note: Cottages 1, 2, 3, & 5 have identical interior footprints and similar furnishings including two bedrooms with a pair of twin beds. Cottage 4 has three bedrooms. All cottages have a full bath with a combined tub and shower.

In the photo shown at the top of this page, Cottage #1 is the one all the way to the left. This is a two bedroom cottage and closest to the office. It tends to be the one most requested by customers who come back year after year..

This is the second cottage that you see on the left side of the photo at the top of this page. This has two bedrooms with a pair of twin beds and faces the ocean. It has the most central view of the cove.

In the photo at the top of this page, Cottage #3 is on the right side nestled in the growth of trees resulting in it being the most quiet cottage. It has two bedrooms. All cottages have a view of the ocean.

In the photo at the top of this page, Seasonal Cottage #4 is the third cottage down on the left side. This cottage has three bedrooms. The largest bedroom has a king size bed.

In the photo at the top of this page, you will see Seasonal Cottage #5 straight ahead all the way down center. This cottage has two bedrooms and has a beautiful ocean view. It is located at the very end of the driveway and is considered our most ‘private’ cottage.

Our seasonal cottages have common floor plans and share many of the same features and amenities. The following images represented by the blue text boxes give a good overall sampling of what to expect. Select each one that you want to see.

Bed linens and bath towels are provided. The cottage is all made up and ready for your vacation arrival.

For those who love to cook, every cottage has its own outdoor BBQ gas grill and a sparkling clean kitchen equipped with:

• Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffee Maker
• Electric Stove/Oven, Bake Ware, Toaster
• Dinnerware, Pots, Pans, Lobster Pot
• Dish Detergent, Dish Towels, Utensils

Other amenities include; Cable TV/ DVD to keep you current with your viewing favorites and free WiFi at the office and to all cottages via range expander. We also offer the use of our two canoes and two kayaks to paddle the shores of our Western Bay at no extra charge. The only service we offer during your stay is a daily change of towels and friendly advice on what to see and do. Our cottages are non-smoking and we do not accept pets.

Windward Cottages is a place where dreams are realized. The usual fast and cluttered life that so many find themselves in soon dissolves away to a very peaceful existence where time seems to slow up and the senses are filled with new sounds, smells and sights. The sweet smells of the evergreen trees combined with the salty air is like a special calling to explore and discover what this place has to offer.
